Looking to help advertisers reach clientele, Web services provider Pegasus Internet (www.pegasusnet.com), New York, is developing the Pegasus Ad Network. Set to launch early next year, the network will provide advertisers the opportunity to buy banner ads on one or all of the sites Pegasus represents. Pegasus expects it will initially be representing more than 40 fine arts, performing arts and entertainment Web sites.
The network will provide users with real-time management of ad buys and will track impressions along with click-through rates. Users will also be able to integrate text graphics, Java applets, JavaScript and animation. An advertiser will be able to specify the amount of time their banner is shown during each impression.
