Pokémon TCG Pocket made a big splash in November, securing the second spot in top-grossing mobile games, just behind Tencent’s Honor of Kings. High-spending players in Japan drove the game’s success.

Over 40% of its in-app purchase earnings came from Japan, even though the country only made up 7% of the installs. The United States was the second highest contributor, with around 27% of earnings. Royal Match and Whiteout Survival held steady in their earnings.

Royal Match brought in about $119 million in November, a slight dip from $120 million in October. Whiteout Survival posted $118 million, close to its October total of $110 million. Monopoly Go bounced back after a decline.

It increased from $82.5 million in October to $92 million in November, offset by its earlier drop in earnings since March. Candy Crush Saga showed a steady trend, with around $86 million for three months in a row.

This was despite a decline in new installs. Tencent’s PUBG Mobile decreased, dropping from $96.5 million in October to $85 million in November. But it still did better than Coin Master, which earned around $54 million.

This is a typical month for Moon Active’s flagship game. Supercell had a strong showing, with Brawl Stars earning around $50 million again. Gardenscapes continued its fifth straight month of revenue decline.

Clash of Clans got a boost from a new town hall update, jumping from $24 million in October to $32.6 million in November.

Habby’s Capybara Go entered the scene, earning $18 million in its first month in the US and other key markets. AppMagic’s latest report shows Honor of Kings as the leader in revenue for November 2024. It earned $142.2 million, 97% coming from iOS users in China.

The revenue per download for this game in Tier-1 Asian countries is $19.42, much higher than that of Tier-1 Western countries at $3.79. Pokémon TCG Pocket led the chart with over 30 million downloads in November. Block Blast! was second with 26.2 million installs, and Mini Games: Calm & Relax was third with 20.5 million downloads.

WinZO: Ludo, Carrom, and Solitaire jumped to the 5th spot. This app offers various games from a Real Money Gaming developer but lets users play for free. Impressively, 99% of its downloads come from India.

The November chart was mostly stable, except for Pokémon TCG Pocket’s strong revenue and download performance.
