In an ironic twist of fate, the American Postal Workers Union has had to delay elections because several thousand ballots have – wait for it – been lost in the mail. Union officials gathered in Washington DC to count vote but were apparently alarmed at the low number of returned ballots. It was then discovered that many voters did not receive their ballots at all.
Voters who did not receive the ballot have until end of day Thursday to request a replacement ballot, and votes will now be counted October 14.
