Hey, why not — if your claim to fame was a digital campaign that helped put Obama over the top, you’d toot your horn too, right? The Wall Street Journal reported today that marketing technology companies — in mobile marketing and online ads — that were hired to create campaigns for Obama are now using that success to get a leg up. Those companies include Quattro Wireless, which created SMS and mobile Web campaigns in 10 battleground states; Distribute Networks, which sent the texts that announced Joe Biden as Obama’s VP pick; and Pontiflex, which generated online leads for the campaign.
