Thomas A. Quadracci, president/CEO of Quad/Graphics, takes over as chairman/CEO of the company starting Jan. 1, replacing current chairman Richard A. Burke, the firm announced yesterday.
Burke will remain on the board of directors as vice chairman. In addition, J. Joel Quadracci will receive a promotion to president and chief operating officer of Quad/Graphics.
Thomas A. Quadracci took over as president/CEO upon the death in 2002 of his brother, company founder Harry Quadracci, and has been on the board of directors since 1995. J. Joel Quadracci, son of Harry Quadracci, until now has served as Quad/Graphics senior vice president of sales and administration and has been on the board since 2003.
Quad/Graphics, Sussex, WI, is the world's largest privately owned printer of commercial products. It has 12,000 employees worldwide, and its estimated sales for 2004 are $1.9 billion.
