Ranpak unveils three new automated packaging systems

Ranpak, a global leader in sustainable paper-based packaging solutions, has introduced three new automated packaging systems designed to enhance productivity, efficiency, and sustainability in e-commerce and industrial supply chains. The PadPak Multi-Station is a unique system that allows up to ten packing stations to be serviced by a single central PadPak paper converter. This modular solution delivers a continuous stream of 100% recyclable, biodegradable, and renewable paper cushioning directly to packers.

It eliminates the need for multiple converters, saving space and boosting efficiency. The PadPak Multi-Station is now available to customers in Europe. The DecisionTower with FillPak Trident leverages advanced computer vision to measure voids within packages and dispense the precise amount of recyclable paper void-fill through a connected FillPak Trident converter.

This method can reduce paper usage by up to 35% and ensures a more consistent, waste-free packaging process, enhancing the customer unboxing experience. The system automatically adapts to different box types and void volumes, requiring minimal operator training.

The Pad’it! is a fully automated system that applies unique waved paper cushioning pads to the top, bottom, or both top and bottom of packages. It can process up to 15 boxes per minute and reduces manual labor. A robotic arm ensures precise pad placement, improving both in-the-box protection and package aesthetics. These innovations reflect Ranpak’s commitment to integrating sustainability into automation.

With over 50 years of experience in paper packaging, Ranpak continues to lead the industry by providing recyclable and renewable packaging materials. Each new system enhances productivity and contributes to a more ergonomic workspace by automating repetitive tasks. We at Ranpak are dedicated to providing solutions that drive both productivity and sustainability,” said a spokesperson.

“Our latest products demonstrate our commitment to innovation, ergonomic efficiency, and environmental responsibility.”

Founded in 1972, Ranpak’s mission is to deliver sustainable packaging solutions that enhance supply chain performance and reduce environmental impact.
