The Social Media Marketplace, known for its backing of small-medium businesses (SMBs), entrepreneurs, and creators, recently unveiled the “Supporting Our Artisans and Retailers (SOAR) Together” Program. This scheme is designed to provide resources, tools, and detailed workshops for SMEs, creators, and entrepreneurs in support of business growth and creative development.

It offers mentorship, networking opportunities within the community, and exclusive promotions. In addition, it promotes financial literacy and digital marketing education. All these efforts are geared towards enabling these individuals to succeed despite adverse circumstances.

The SOAR Together program has launched two inaugural social initiatives. With an objective to support and empower women-led and LGBTQIA+ businesses. One focuses on promoting women to leadership roles across various sectors, while the second aims to forge a secure and inclusive business environment for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Furthermore, these initiatives provide educational workshops on LGBTQIA+ rights and diverse business networking opportunities.

The central goal is to nurture a supportive environment that cultivates personal and professional growth for marginalized community members.

Besides financial support, the SOAR Together program advocates for diversity, inclusion, and empowers individuals while promoting community and solidarity. It plays a significant part in a broader movement to support diverse businesses.

The Women-Owned Business Accelerator, the initiative’s first program, is a six-week program that boosts the growth of women-owned SMEs. In collaboration with the AWBC and a retail and marketing expert, it provides mentorship and growth opportunities.

The second initiative, the Minority Business Development Program, puts its focus on providing resources and advice for minority community-owned businesses. In alliance with the MBDA, the eight-week training scheme covers finance, marketing, and supply chain management.

The third program, the Start-up Bootcamp for young Entrepreneurs, promotes young startups through unique strategic support over ten weeks. It provides participants access to successful entrepreneurs, skills workshops, and invaluable networking events.

The second collaboration with StartOut is geared towards promoting the growth of LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs. It supports 30 US-based LGBTQIA+-owned businesses with scholarships for StartOut’s Founders Program to aid in business enlargement and scale-up.

The Social Media Marketplace is assertive in developing innovative measures to support its SMBs and entrepreneurs. Beyond traditional marketing strategies, the company aims to delve into the unexplored paths of creativity. Their vision is to foster a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem within their digital platform, nurturing an environment that promotes innovation and growth.
