The series, based on the widely-followed manga, is set to captivate viewers on Saturday evenings, beginning at 11:30. The premiere is scheduled for January 2025.

Further details laid out the core cast and full production team. Lead roles will be filled by Ranmaru Mori and Rihito Tatsuno, with Mori also serving as the series’ writer and director. Interestingly, the name of the production studio remains a mystery.

The story swims in the currents of two genres, BL manga (or, “Bloody Love Comedy”), and follows the life of Ranmaru, a 450-year-old, part-time communal bath worker who is also a vampire.

Ranmaru longs for the blood of an 18-year-old virgin, which leads him to focus on the 15-year-old Rihito, the bathhouse owners’ son.

Unveiling key details of Vampire Anime

This tale of passionate love, peppered with the trials and tribulations of hiding a supernatural life, is filled with tension and excitement.

The original manga made its debut in October 2021 and was quickly embraced by enthusiasts. This led to the release of the seventh edition of the manga book series in March. Fans can also look forward to a live-action film adaptation projected for a 2025 release.

Additionally, the editorial team shared their opinions on the best and worst anime series from Spring 2024 at the briefing. The adaptation of Kei Azumi’s novel series, “Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy,” is confirmed for a third season, a decision influenced by its well-liked plotlines and captivating animation.

Meanwhile, the sci-fi series, “Celestial Navigator,” was less successful. However, being in its early episodes, it still has time to improve its perceived weak storyline and character development.

In terms of recommendations, the manhwa “Who Made Me a Princess” is worth your attention, as are the series “Unico: Awakening,” “The Dungeon of Black Company,” “One Piece,” “Tower of God,” and “Shield Hero”. Enjoy your viewing!
