H. Robert Wientzen, president/CEO of the Direct Marketing Association from 1996 to 2004, is now a senior consultant for direct marketing and promotion at Cincinnati Consulting Consortium Ltd., it was announced yesterday.
The consortium (www.cincconsult.com) is a team of 30 former senior executives from Procter & Gamble Co. offering expertise in areas like advertising and marketing, research, sales, IT, finance and product development.
Wientzen spent 27 years at P&G, handling DM duties at the consumer packaged goods giant. After retiring, he became chairman/CEO of Advanced Promotion Technologies before accepting the top administrative post at the DMA in New York.
