If you’re in a marketing or marketing operations role, you have a lot to discuss with your women peers. That’s what we observed at our first women in marketing meet-up and cocktail hour last November.
So we’re back, on Thursday February 6th, at 6.30pm, again in the great office space kindly provided by Channel V Media on West 23rd Street, and with support from our sponsor Infogroup. There is no cost to attend.
After networking over cocktails and light bites, we’ll be dividing up into informal but moderated discussion groups. The topics this time around will be:
- Marketing Strategies Which Speak Effectively to Women. Women aren’t a homogenous segment of the population: we’re not all alike. How women in marketing can develop strategies which speak effectively to women audiences.
- When does marketing cross the line?
Creepy marketing seems to be on the increase. Inappropriate ads, intrusive personalization. What perspectives can women marketers bring to take the creepiness level down a few notches? - Getting Out of a Rut. There are all kinds of reasons a woman’s career might stall – family responsibilities, glass ceilings, a hostile workplace. Let’s talk about experiences and constructive solutions.
The evening will be hosted by DMN’s Marjorie Romeyn-Sanabria, and joining Marjorie as moderators we have Heather Winnicki, VP product management at Infogroup, and Julie Zuraw, CEO of The Julie Zuraw Group.
You can find full details here.
Please RSVP soon as space is strictly limited. For that reason, we will be giving preference to women in marketing and marketing ops roles.
