Amazon Fresh is introducing new deals and discounts for Prime members to make grocery shopping more affordable and convenient. The initiative includes exclusive savings on over 3,000 grocery items, with 10% to 50% off discounts. Prime and Prime Access members and customers with a registered EBT card in the U.S. can now benefit from a low-cost subscription offering unlimited grocery delivery on orders over $35.

This service includes deliveries from Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and other local grocery and specialty retailers. Amazon Fresh has also launched a new private-label brand called Amazon Saver, which provides essential grocery items at affordable prices, with most products priced under $5. Prime members can enjoy an additional 10% off these products, which include crackers, cookies, canned fruit, and condiments.

The online shopping experience has been enhanced to reflect the convenience of physical stores. Key features include Amazon’s repeat items feature, recurring weekly grocery pickup and delivery reservations, and intuitive shopping zones that organize products by theme.

Amazon Fresh new member discounts

Amazon Fresh offers flexible options for grocery shopping, including free pickup at Amazon Fresh locations or home delivery. Prime membership provides numerous benefits, such as unlimited grocery delivery on orders over $35 and the ability to earn unlimited 5% back on purchases made at Amazon.com, Amazon Fresh, and Whole Foods Market. Amazon’s goal is to simplify and enhance everyday life by making grocery shopping quick, easy, and affordable through its robust ecosystem, which includes physical stores, third-party grocery partnerships, and comprehensive online offerings.

The launch of the Saver brand directly challenges rivals like Walmart, which also offers cheap private label brands popular with customers. This move comes as consumers face high inflation and increasingly prioritize value in grocery shopping. Neil Saunders, retail analyst and managing director at GlobalData Retail, emphasized that Saver must maintain reasonable quality, as shoppers are looking for good products at low prices rather than simply cheap options.

The cost of food across US cities has risen by as much as 25%, leaving many people struggling to afford basic necessities. Amazon’s new savings opportunities aim to alleviate this financial burden for Prime members who shop at Amazon Fresh. The savings program for Prime members has already rolled out in stores and online, with select Amazon Saver products now available at Amazon Fresh and hundreds more.
