“SERENITY NOW!” is a phrase oft-shouted by Frank Costanza during episodes of Seinfeld, but ZenDay should consider adopting it as its slogan. The productivity app aims to “bring more serenity to your daily life” by focusing on time management and making better decisions as to what task should be done next.
ZenDay provides users with an overview of their timeline and a single view of all of their commitments, with the goal of helping them better balance their professional lives and create a more fulfilling lifestyle. The app combines any and all of users’ calendars with their to-do lists for a 3D display that ZenDay fancies as a “GPS for their time,” and then it rearranges the tasks upon completion.
The app also lets users:
- Jot down daily goals and review how well previous weeks’ goals were met
- Set reminders to trigger alarm notifications
- Mark deadlines so the app automatically highlights urgent tasks
- Enter “call” in a task and select a contact to be able to call the person with one click from the ZenDay timeline
Not only was it cited as one of the nine best Android apps of 2013, but users seem to love it, too:
