On July 29, 2024, Campbell Soup Company announced that Jill Pratt had been appointed as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of the Meals and Beverages division. Jill will steer the division’s marketing operations, aiming to enhance brand performance and drive growth.

Jill’s wealth of experience from previous roles, including Global Vice President at Kraft Heinz, makes her a valuable addition to the Campbell team. The company hopes that her unique insights will be instrumental in gaining a fresh perspective on marketing and brand strategy.

As the new SVP and CMO, Jill is motivated to help the company reach new heights by refining the division’s marketing strategies and aligning them with evolving customer needs. She will also lead the U.S. Consumer Experience team to improve current customer relations and attract a new consumer base.

Among other responsibilities, Jill will formulate strategies for enhancing customer satisfaction, driving growth in consumer engagement, and identifying new market opportunities.

These strategies will be shaped by market trends and consumer feedback, helping the company achieve its objectives.

In her role, Jill also plans to foster a positive consumer experience, develop loyalty and long-term engagement, and maintain consistent messaging and branding across all consumer touchpoints, ensuring a unified consumer experience.

At the same time, she will be entrusted with identifying and assessing new market opportunities that can contribute to Campbell’s growth. Her contributions are likely to enhance the performance of the U.S. Consumer Experience team and the division’s overall profitability.

Additionally, Jill’s appointment signals a continued commitment to growth, innovation, and enhanced marketing efforts by the Campbell Soup Company. She will also closely collaborate with Mick Beekhuizen, the Executive Vice President and President of Meals & Beverages, who has expressed confidence in her leadership and innovation strategies.

Jill steps into the large shoes left by Linda Lee, whose successful tenure at Campbell saw significant brand modernization. Lee has chosen to pursue other career options, leaving Jill the task of continuing the forward momentum and growth of Campbell.

Beekhuizen, while saying goodbye to Lee, expressed optimistic expectations for Pratt’s future contributions and her ability to achieve the company’s objectives. Jill’s extensive consumer packaged goods industry background, including her stints at Heatonist, McCormick & Company, and Procter & Gamble, is an invaluable asset to the Campbell team.

With a stellar combination of team collaboration, data-driven decision–making, innovative thinking, and an enviable knack for strategic market planning, the Campbell Soup Company forecasts a prosperous future under Pratt’s leadership.
