E-mail services firm JangoMail has upgraded its e-mail marketing service in a move to improve usability, and UK-based software developer Camrivox is using this update to help improve sales.
Camrivox, a developer of Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) software for the SME market, uses e-mail to keep customers and the channel base informed about product developments and to follow up on leads generated by downloading trial software.
The firm has been optimizing its e-mail program to Salesforce feature to connect its JangoMail account to multiple customer relationship management accounts.
“We concentrate on newsletters and lead follow-up to ensure people know where to buy our product once a trial has expired,” said John Porter, VP of marketing at Camrivox via e-mail. “As we are constantly adding features and supported CRM platforms, it is important to us to keep our customers and channels up-to-date and aware of new opportunities.”
Camrivox sends e-mail newsletters on a monthly basis to about 1,000 people. Now it will be following up leads using the JangoMail/Salesforce integration at a rate of about 150 per week. The new JangoMail update lets Camrivox and other clients connect to multiple Salesforce accounts, letting sales agents share a single JangoMail account across company mailings. To enable organization-wide access to JangoMail, users can now create alternate login credentials for each additional employee.
“E-mail is great as it allows us to reach a large number of people without incurring cost or tying up resources,” added Porter. “As our e-mail list is permission-based, we know that customers have decided that they want to hear from us this way.”
