Marketing research and digital analytics firm comScore, Inc. has named Bert Miklosi VP of marketing solutions for the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, effective immediately. He will report directly to comScore executive chairman Gian Fulgoni.
In the newly-created role, Miklosi will oversee comScore’s business development within the CPG sector. He will also focus on comScore’s monitoring and testing services for gauging advertising strategy and creative impact.
Miklosi’s overall goal will be to “help markets build their business through driven insights and the full spectrum of touch points, from traditional advertising to digital,” he said.
He will be in charge of a team of 12 business developers focused on the CPG industry. The team will try to marry comScore’s “deep knowledge in the digital area” with traditional copy-testing techniques to give their clients a “full-service research” experience, he said.
“Historically, the digital and traditional worlds were not meeting, but in 2012, they are going to meet,” Miklosi said. “And we are really well-positioned for that coming together.”
Miklosi most recently spent three years as principal consultant at Bert Miklosi Consulting. Prior to that role, he held various senior-level positions at advertising research group Ipsos ASI and at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
