The fall gener8tor Accelerator Program is investing in six startups, four of which are based in Nebraska. The startups will each receive a $100,000 investment in exchange for equity throughout a 12-week training program. The diverse range of participating startups covers areas including technology, healthcare, finance, and renewable energy.
The selected startups moving into the Nebraska startup ecosystem include Build Más, Cup of Coa, MyVoluntier Operations, Set Your Sites, Empowerment Independence, and Tumbleweed.
Gener8tor investing in diverse startups
These entities were chosen based on their innovative concepts and growth potential, with four Nebraska-based, one from Minnesota, and one from Iowa.
Nate Clark, Gener8tor’s new managing director, sees substantial potential and diversity amongst the selected startups. He believes that these startups present transformative potential for Nebraska’s business landscape and views them as drivers for the state’s economic development and job creation.
Among the startups, Build Más is a bilingual English-Spanish estimation platform for contractors, and Cup of Coa is a luxury gourmet cocoa brand. Empowerment Independence offers personal care products for the elderly and those with physical disabilities.
The Accelerator Program also includes MyVoluntier Operations, a digital solution for managing community outreach, Set Your Sites, a camping location connection platform, and Tumbleweed, a service assisting with document management during life’s final stages.
All participating startups in the 12-week program will learn from experienced entrepreneurs within the Nebraska ecosystem through scheduled tours, conferences, hands-on training, and leadership workshops. The initiative aims to equip these startups with the necessary tools and knowledge to build, launch, and scale their products, offering valuable insights into the entrepreneurial world and complexities of business management.
