GoldenGate Software Inc. has released GoldenGate 9.5 — the latest version of its data integration platform.
The GoldenGate Transaction Data Management platform works with packaged applications from Oracle and SAP as well as with custom-built applications. While GoldenGate products have long been used with packaged applications, this latest release provides more in-depth support for E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft Enterprise, Siebel and other applications.
New to GoldenGate 9.5 is the ability to replicate non-data objects. Adding users, applying procedures and other administrative actions can now be performed more quickly. Version 9.5 also offers expanded support to non-data objects in Oracle systems and to databases and platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
The TDM platform also supports real-time bidirectional change-data-capture. In moves or upgrades, this technology can copy structural changes between databases with no interruption.
