HP has unveiled its latest gaming laptop, the Victus 15 fb3025AX, in India. Priced at Rs 1,12,990, the laptop promises to redefine gaming experiences with its AI capabilities, graphics, and thermal management. The Victus 15 features a 15.6-inch Full-HD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and anti-glare finish.
It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS CPU with an integrated Hawkpoint 8945HS NPU, offering up to 16 TOPs of AI performance. The laptop has 16 GB of upgradeable RAM and 1 TB of SSD storage. For graphics, it has an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 with 8 GB of VRAM.
HP claims the dedicated NPU can improve game rendering and frame rates while reducing latency by working with the NVIDIA GPU.
HP’s new AI-powered gaming laptop
The laptop retains a design similar to its predecessor, with a prominent “V” logo on the back.
It includes an RJ45 Ethernet port, HDMI 2.1 port, and multiple USB-C and USB-A ports. Weighing 2.29 kg, the Victus 15 has a full-sized backlit keyboard. It is powered by a 70Wh battery for hours of gameplay.
For thermal management, the laptop uses the OMEN Tempest Cooling solution, which includes an IR thermopile sensor for accurate real-time temperature measurements. Vineet Gehani, Senior Director of Personal Systems at HP India, said, “Whether casual or competitive, gamers can expect a seamless, powerful, and immersive journey with this next-gen AI gaming laptop.
Customers will also receive a 3-month complimentary Xbox Game Pass and a Microsoft Office 2024 lifetime subscription with their purchase. The HP Victus 15 aims to offer an elevated gaming experience with its combination of high-performance hardware and AI capabilities.
