The World Creative Rankings 2025 have recognized the top creative talent from around the globe. Serviceplan Group’s Lorenz Langgartner and Franz Roppischer jointly hold the top spot as the most awarded Executive Creative Directors (ECDs) globally. Their creative leadership has propelled Serviceplan to a standout year, with multiple campaigns securing top honors on the global awards circuit.
The pair were joint second last year. Rethink’s Xavier Blais follows closely behind, climbing from 10th place last year to secure a prominent position. His notable campaign, ‘Coors Lights Out’ for Coors, ranked fourth among the most award-winning campaigns.
Alexandre Abrantes of FCB New York takes third place, Publicis Conseil’s Fabrice Delacourt lands in fourth, and Eduardo Tavares of FCB Chicago takes fifth place.
Serviceplan creatives top global rankings
The World Creative Rankings analyzed 2,460 campaigns from 1,653 clients working with 1,215 agencies.
This analysis included contributions from 839 executive creative directors, 2,692 creative directors, 1,615 copywriters, and 2,027 art directors from 77 countries. The rankings are compiled over a calendar year by analyzing the performance of thousands of innovative works across 22 major industry awards programs, including The Drum Marketing Awards and The Drum Awards Festival. This data ranks CCOs, ECDs, creative directors, art directors, and copywriters responsible for the most creatively awarded work 2024.
The rankings also include the best agencies, networks, and holding companies, which are further categorized by country and region. Additionally, the rankings evaluate advertisers and the sectors that yield the most creative accolades, such as Food & Drink, Automotive, Retail, and Charity. A dedicated hub has been created to showcase the full list of the most-awarded ECDs in the world for 2025.
