‘Wicked’ collection hits Target

Target has launched a new collection of “Wicked”-themed merchandise ahead of the highly anticipated movie’s November release. The collection includes limited-edition Stanley tumblers inspired by the characters Elphaba and Glinda. The tumblers come in two colors: glossy pink for Glinda and deep green for Elphaba.

 

They are available in 40-ounce and smaller sizes, priced at $55 and $35 respectively. The cups feature glitter and gold accents to add a magical touch. The “Wicked” Stanley cups will be available exclusively at Target starting on Sunday, Oct. 13. However, they may be released online early overnight Saturday. Supplies are expected to be limited, so fans are encouraged to act fast.

In addition to the tumblers, Target’s “Wicked” collection includes many other themed items. Fans can find apparel, accessories, beauty products, and a Target-exclusive soundtrack.

The collection also includes a Fiyero Fashion Doll. Starting Nov. 3, Target stores nationwide will feature “Wicked”-themed displays and installations.

Jill Sando, Target’s executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “When it comes to big cultural moments like this, there’s no place like Target.

The “Wicked” movie, starring Ariana Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, will hit theaters on Nov. 27. The film adaptation follows the hugely successful Broadway production, which has garnered numerous awards and a dedicated global fan base.

Fans of the musical and those eagerly awaiting the movie release can now bring a piece of the magic home with Target’s “Wicked” collection. The limited-edition Stanley tumblers are expected to be a hit, so those interested should plan to shop early to secure their own piece of “Wicked” merchandise.
