Jamie Gutfreund, an expert in youth marketing whose digital experience initiated with Prodigy and Microsoft in the ’90s, has been named Global CMO of Wunderman, the company announced today.
“Jamie has a proven track record as an outstanding storyteller who is insights-driven,” said CEO Mark Read in a press release.
Gutfreund comes to Wunderman from Deep Focus, a full-service marketing agency where she also served as CMO. Prior to that she was chief strategy officer at the consulting firm The Intelligence Group, where she oversaw the “Cassandra Report,” a quarterly research report focused on young consumers. Clients she worked with there included Google, Red Bull, and 20th Century Fox.
In her new role, Gutfreund will lead marketing and communications initiatives at Wunderman’s 175 offices worldwide, focusing on leveraging the network’s data and creative capabilities.
“Wunderman is the global leader in data-driven creativity, and I am extremely excited to help expand the breadth and depth of work that they do with clients,” Gutfreund said.
