Justin Brown

Justin Brown created the Direct Message, a way of reading public life in three steps: the tension people feel, the noise built around it, and the conclusion the evidence actually supports. Writing on Direct Message News is his attempt to explore ideas through that framework and test it against politics as it happens. He holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Australian National University, where he held a Hedley Bull Fellowship, and a Master of Science in Economic History from the London School of Economics. He is a co-founder and director of Brown Brothers Media.
