Copyright Complaints

DMNews respects copyright and expects others to do the same. This page explains how to report material published on DMNews and how to contact us about permission to reuse our work.

Reporting material on this site

If you own copyright, or are authorised to act for the owner, and believe material published on this site infringes that right, email info@dmnews.com with “Copyright Complaint” in the subject line and provide:

• your name, organisation, and contact details;
• identification of the copyrighted work or a representative list;
• the exact URL and enough detail to identify the material complained about;
• an explanation of why the use is not authorised by the owner, an agent, or law;
• a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act; and
• your physical or electronic signature.

We may request further information. We will review the context, including licences, attribution, quotation, public-domain status, and applicable legal exceptions. Where appropriate, we may correct attribution, restrict access, replace or remove material, or take no action. We may share the complaint with the contributor or another relevant party so they can respond.

Responding to a complaint

If your material is affected, you may provide evidence of ownership, permission, licence, public-domain status, or another lawful basis. We consider information from both sides before deciding what action is appropriate.

Copies of our work elsewhere

If another website has copied DMNews material, contact that website or its host, search engine, advertising provider, or platform. For documentation confirming our publication, licensing, or ownership position, contact us.

Permissions and licensing

To request permission to reproduce or license DMNews material, email info@dmnews.com with the URL, material requested, intended use, territory, and duration.

Corrections are different

Copyright complaints concern ownership or permitted use. Questions about factual accuracy should be sent through our corrections process.
